Welcome to America Project

Winter Season November 15, 2021 thru January 10th 2022

Since 2006 the World United Founder's Residence location has been the welcome to America haven for all incoming International Students on the J-1 Work and Travel Program. Reno, Nevada, Kings Beach California, Jamaica Queens, Cortland New York, Orlando Florida, and now in the era of COVID your haven is north of Los Angeles in Lancaster, California.  Welcome to America!

What is the World United Welcome to America Project?

There will be a video posted here with a full explanation of how we have been assisting International Cultural Exchange arrivals the past fifteen years. But, the following is the short explanation:

World United is ready to assist you upon your arrival 24/7. We understand that most of the International Cultural Exchange participants are educated and many are well traveled and can handle their arrival procedures on their own. The welcome to America Project is their to assist you in time of trouble or an emergency. Here are the steps you should take in case of any difficulties upon arrival:

1. Contact your sponsoring agency at the emergency contact number given you and explain the problem/situation.

2. If you are not able to contact your sponsoring agency because of any given circumstances contact the U.S State        Department emergency number given to you, or the emergency numbers given to you on your sponsoring agency documents.

3. If you are not able to get in contact with (1) or (2) contact World United and we'll do our best to provide you with the support you need.
